The next scheduled Lifeguard Training course for the practical skills begins Friday May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am and ends Saturday if necessary May 27, 2017. The online blended learning part of the course starts May 12, 2017.  It takess about 8 hours to complete the online part of the course.  You have 2 weeks to complete the online part.  The prerequisites for the course are a 300 yard swim using a combination of front crawl and breaststroke, retrieve a 10 pound brick from 9 feet of water and return it to the far enf of the pool and tread water for 2 minutes legs only, no hands.  The WATERFRONT COURSE is also available.  Add $75.00 for the waterfront module.   After you register for the class I will send the link for the online part of the course to you.  Successful students receive an American Red Cross Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED.

American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors course: Sunday May 28, 2017 to Wednesday May 31, 2017.  Sunday11:00 am to 5:00 pm,  Monday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and if necessary Thursday  9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  You must be 16 years old to participate.  You must be able to swim the following six strokes at Level 4: Front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, butterfly, sidestroke and elementary backstroke.  You must be able to float on your back and tread water for one minute.  Successful students receive an American Red Cross certification as a Water Safety Instructor. 

Fee $300.00
